Torreon is a Mexican city of Coahuila, located north of the country with high economicdevelopment, based on the agricultural industry, textile, metallurgical, chemical, tradeand services. It is one of the youngest cities in Mexico, then held one hundred yearsin 2007. In conjunction with other cities in the state of Coahuila and Durango arecalled Laguna region.
It has an area of 1 947.7 square kilometers, equivalent to 1.29% of the total area of the state of Coahuila. Bounded on the east by the city of Matamoros, and suerestewith the state of Durango
