Tuxpan, a town of the state of Nayarit, Mexico. Has an area of 474.3 km ².Rosamorada bordered on the north, northwest, west and south to Santiago Ixcuintlafinally to the East with Ruiz. He also finds a river "San Pedro", which continuouslyoverflows and limits between Tuxpan and Rosamorada.
It is located west of the state of Nayarit, between parallels 21 º 52 'and 22 º 01' north latitude and the meridian 105 º 12 'and 105 º 27' west longitude, bounded on thenorth by the municipality of Rosamorada, south of Santiago Ixcuintla , west to east ityourself and with Ruiz.
It is warm-humid with rains from June to October, the warm months are from May to October. Moderate winds from west to east. Rainfall often floods the town.
