The beach is located near  Tecomán, facing the open sea with deep water and moderate waves, the sand is light gray which extends over a wide stretch of gently sloping. The waves of this beach is ideal for surfing, because its waters are so special the wave tube. In fact, this place made national surfing tournaments.In the summer there is the release of turtles which involved a large number of tourists and locals.

The place is surrounded by tropical vegetation and small bodies of salt water that are home to countless seabirds.
Between the road and the beach there are many palapas where you can eat typical, exquisite seafood soup made with fish, shrimp, crab, and octopus ceviche Colima style ground beef cooked with sailfish, saw or a fillet of grouper fish in garlic and fish and exquisite sarandeado oysters on the half shell, clams or snails.
Also, you will find handicrafts made based seashell carved by hand.


Getting there
From Mexico City to Tecomán is a distance of 798 kilometers, which are traversed in a time of 9 hours and 50 minutes or so.

Since there are no direct flights to Tecomán of Mexico City must go to the city of Colima, whose flight time is one hour and 20 minutes nonstop. Once in Colima, you have to go by road Tecomán, a distance of 44 kilometers in a time of 30 minutes.

A 10 km south of Tecomán lies El real, to a road which crosses the city and large tracts of coconut groves and orchards of mango and lemon
