Castaños is a town in the Mexican state of Coahuila, located in the center of the state,county seat of Castaños . Part of the Metropolitan Area Monclova.

It limits the north with the municipalities of Sacramento, Frontera, Monclova, on the south by the municipality of Ramos Arizpe, on the east with the state of Nuevo Leon,on the northeast by the municipality of Cande's and the west of Cuatro.
Historical Monuments
