Xcalak is the Canal de Zaragoza, a channel that allows communication from the Bay of Chetumal, the Caribbean Sea without passing through territorial waters of Belize. This area is famous for its fantastic fishing, and is also great for trolling, though few people have done. All year we caught sierra, mackerel, tuna, barracuda, grouper, snapper and tarpon. From April to June there is a lot dorado, marlin and sailfish.
