Site description
The area of the Cascade Cacalotenango has large areas of forest and stream,where you can make eco-tourism activities such as trail rides high and lowphysical impact, adventure sports, bird watching, horseback riding, amongothers.
The main attraction of the place is a waterfall that has a vertical drop of just over 90 meters high cliffs or scarps formed by volcanic rock type. This cascadegives it a majestic character to the landscape along with other cascades thatare downstream of the river cause.
The town of Cacalotenango is located in the Municipality of Taxco, in Guerrero State, Mexico.
Cacalotenango is 1662 meters above sea level.
It is located on the hillside of the Giant.
Its climate is temperate - wet.
The place is inhabited by 1581 people, most of which are concerned withgrowing in the orchards, fruit trees, planting corn, and livestock and meat sales.
They are located 13 km from Taxco by road to Ixcateopan. Cerro El Cedro,born Brook Field Plan, which in its descent as two spectacular waterfalls, one80-m free-fall, forming a little well, then the river in its course is crowned by agallery forest contrasts with the blue water.
